Joe Bonamassa Tour Locations

Joe Bonamassa is no stranger to concert tours. In fact, he got his first start in at the age of 12 when he was an opening act for B.B. King. But as an adult solo artist, he started off slow in doing live concert performances with 7 concert appearances from 1999-2001.

But things changed for this artist ever since, as he routinely held an average of 50+ concerts per year, excluding the 2004 year when he only had 28 concerts. As well as the 2020 concert season which only had 25 concert appearances due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

But his dream of supporting and uplifting blues music carried him through many incredible years of concerts both within and without the US. Some critics point to his 2014-2018 years as some of his best live concert work, especially given how often he played before sold out crowds with over 100 concerts during each of those years.

But let’s zoom in on some of his more recent concerts.

For instance, last year, Bonamassa played at Florida’s St. Augustine Amphitheater on December 10, 2021. The concert was considered one of his best for the year and a welcome hot part of a very cold winter. This stands out because of the relatively low number of concerts held at this venue, as it has been seen as an exclusive stop for the best musicians in the world.

This was followed up by a cruise line concert series, when Bonamassa played on Norwegian Cruise Line’s “Norwegian Pearl” as part of his “Keeping The Blues Alive At Sea” series on February 25, 2022. This show was an absolute treat for all the cruise-goers during that voyage.
